What are the most successful MSPs doing to grow business and plan for the future? A panel of three of the most successful MSPs will give you their insights.

We are excited to have one of the best Cybersecurity experts share some deep insights in the battle against cybercrime. From 2003 to 2022 he was the CTO and Co-founder of Herjavec Group (one of the largest MSSPs). Robert Herjavec, in his Canadian Best Selling book, "Driven" described him as "the smartest guy I ever met”. He has worked in information technology for over 35 years with a specific focus in cybersecurity for almost 30 of those years.

How can you avoid making costly mistakes as you help your clients transform their business to be successful in the digital-first World. On April 26th, 1986, at 1:23:40 AM, Aleksandr Akimov, shift supervisor of reactor 4's control room at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, pressed the emergency SCRAM button to shut down an unstable nuclear reactor following a failed safety test. However, instead of the reactor shutting down, it experienced a power surge and subsequent catastrophic explosion that immediately killed 50 people, irradiated over 160,000 square kilometers, contributed to the fall of the Soviet Union, and has cost $700 Billion in ongoing remediation efforts to date.

But how could a safety system intended to halt a nuclear meltdown result in such a catastrophe? This talk will start with a crash course on nuclear energy and a cautionary tale of how innovation biases, technical and systemic deficiencies, and cultural factors culminated in to the world's worst nuclear disaster.

We will then fast-forward and explore exciting new technologies being used digital transformation initiatives, such as Cloud, IoT, and AI, and the potential novel risks they may introduce, all the while drawing parallels to the lessons learned from the Chernobyl accident.

In the final part of the presentation, we will highlight the importance of modernizing existing safety and risk management functions by introducing new assurance standards, engineering best practices and robust controls to digitally enable safer, more efficient and highly resilient businesses.

- Who may attend this event in-person for FREE?

All types of channel partners (MSPs, VARS, ITSPs, Solutions Providers) as well as extended partners in the ecosystem (digital transformation consultants, telcos, digital agencies, accounting firms, consultants). After you register, we will review and notify you accordingly.

- Are you a vendor or distributor?

You will need to qualify for a guest pass. There is a fee for this. Are you an independent software vendor (ISV)? You may attend this event for free but some restrictions apply.

- How do I attend this event in person?

Register. We will send the location details to all qualified registrants.

- How do I cancel my attendance?

If you have registered and cannot attend, please cancel. That allows us to invite another person from the waiting list. There is a no-show fee of $395.00.

- Is the event recorded?
