In today's digital-first economy, our new conference format is all about business transformation, cybersecurity, and education!

In today's digital-first economy, our new conference format is all about business transformation, cybersecurity, and education!

The attending vendors represent the hottest categories, including cybersecurity, work from anywhere, everything Microsoft, networking, cloud, and, of course, anything related to digital transformation.

It is important to consider the impact of high inflation and rising interest rates, which have since raised the cost of everything. The "smell" of a recession in the air is already affecting consumer confidence. The competition for talent is heating up as workers seek greater meaning and remuneration. Companies will pass on higher costs to customers. Businesses will have to accomplish more with fewer employees. Who knows what impact the prolonged war, supply chain issues, and epidemic will have on the economy in the future. Whatever the case may be, it will never be for the better.

We will investigate these and other current business pain points, such as hiring and retaining talent, scaling your managed services, finding new customers, and, of course, addressing the cyber security issue.

Of course, you will also have the opportunity to network and have fun with friends and peers as we work to recover from the mental stress we have all experienced over the last few years while enjoying great food and drinks!

Of course, you will also have the opportunity to network and have fun with friends and peers as we work to recover from the mental stress we have all experienced over the last few years while enjoying great food and drinks!

It will be a good day for feeding your business mind, body, and soul.

NEW: The ecosystem of the channel is changing! Non-traditional (and non-transactional) partners are flooding into the ecosystem, even as traditional channel partners (MSPs, VARs, etc.) remain central. Some businesses offer completely separate services, such as accounting or digital marketing, but they also want their clients to have managed services to help them (so they collaborate with MSPs). Thousands of business applications are also developed by Independent Software Vendors (ISV), who work with channel partners to promote, deploy, and support them. There are also telecom companies that offer managed services, 5G, networking, and broadband. We are preparing to gather all stakeholders to discuss new business opportunities. Channel partners who plan to capitalize on this tremendous growth will fare well. We will investigate this new channel ecosystem at our events.

If you are unable to attend the conference in person, you can watch the livestream from wherever you are or request the recordings for later viewing. It's your call!

We'll double-click on three key areas:

1. The most recent methods of generating sales in a digital-first economy
2. The most recent market trends and solutions in business digital transformation
3. Strengthening the technology and service stack to maximize recurring revenue, particularly in cybersecurity.

MSPs, ITSPs, ISVs, and VARs are all welcome to attend for free!

We designed ChannelNEXT to be a local (we come to you) and smaller VIP event where every attendee feels welcome and safe. Previous attendees have given us a solid 98% satisfaction rating.

If you are a VAR, MSP, ITSP, or ISV looking to build or scale a sustainable and predictable managed-service recurring revenue business, ChannelNEXT is a great place to start! Visit to view videos from previous events.
Keep checking back as we update the schedule with more speakers, topics, and vendors.

Registration is open, breakfast snacks and networking.

Welcome! What will you discover today?

As we speak, a new diverse channel partner ecosystem in a digital-first market is emerging. Vendors are shifting to a subscription/consumption business model. To accommodate this trend, Microsoft is changing their partner requirements. Digital marketing agencies, accounting firms, digital transformation advisors, telecommunication companies, and others have already entered the channel community and are changing the dynamics of doing business.

We will talk about what MSPs need to know in order to navigate and leverage this new ecosystem. The potential for business expansion is quite extraordinary.

We will also explore how MSPs are preparing in the event there is a downturn in the economy.

We will also discuss some of the digital-first activities that channel partners should be adopting to remain relevant in the market.

We will hold this in the form of a town hall meeting so that we can solicit feedback and interact with the audience.

Today's sales playbook has significantly evolved in the digital-first economy and new normal. With the added uncertainty of the economy as well as other factors such as the epidemic, war, inflation, employee hiring and retention etc, sellers need to align their message with the concerns and risks of their prospects. In this session Shane Gibson will explore the latest methodology of selling on risks. This applies to selling cybersecurity and digital transformation.

This will include a 15 minute talk show format session between Julian Lee and Shane Gibson to address some questions from the audience.

We will interview (in a talk show format) leading MSPs and experts from the local region to explore their secrets of success. We will discuss failures, challenges, successes, hiring, employee retention and best practices. We will also explore how to exit or sell your MSP Business. What are the best MSPs doing and not doing to future proof business in this digital-first economy? We will also discuss the current economic conditions and how they are preparing for a potential downturn.Questions are encouraged from the in-person and online audiences.

Select vendors will take to the stage and in a short talk-show or presentation format. Audience may ask questions. We discourage the usual slide-deck presentations to focus on what's most important! These sessions are engaging and brings the audience into the discussion. It's also live-streamed.

This is NOT a typical trade show. Vendors will be in the ChannelNEXT "marketplace" to showcase their products over lunch. Vendors also join channel partners at the lunch tables. Everyone connects at their own pace and some vendors do give away prizes and swag. We also do news interviews with vendors and MSPs. It's a marketplace to browse, learn and talk while eating and drinking. For the latest line up of vendors see the sponsors on the event's landing home page.

Each vendor gets 3 minutes to make their digital sales pitch to both the in-person and online audiences. Channel partners can quickly assess if the vendor can be a fit for their solutions' portfolio. You can reach out to connect with the vendors you like. We also have an online method for you to instantly receive more information on any vendor or product you see.

Everyone will receive a link with the vendors listed to instantly vote for their favourite pitch. Simply make your selection and done. You can also the vendors of interest to receive more information.

You will also get a chance win some prizes as a "thank-you-for-voting".

The top mission in the technology community is the digital transformation (DX) of all businesses. The Pandemic has accelerated the pace to the point where most businesses must adopt a digital-first strategy. If Channel Partners become DX Experts, they will be well positioned to capture the lion's share of this lucrative market. Canadian channel partners can now apply to the Government for large grants (up to $100,000) to help them with their clients with DX transformation. In this session, you will learn about the potential business opportunities in DX and how you can get subsidized to accelerate your DX certification and managed services.

The majority of channel partners provide some level of cybersecurity managed services to their customers. It's the hottest topic right now. Some work may have to be outsourced to a third-party SOC or similar organization, depending on their capabilities. The question for MSPs and MSSPs is how much cybersecurity services they can offer in-house and whether it makes sense to build it or outsource it. Vendors have recently added more AI and automation to their platforms in order to make it easier for channel partners to deploy and manage. Many vendors provide channel partners with the assistance they require to do this on their own! We will investigate the current state of the business of developing managed cybersecurity services.

Outcome? You will go home with a clearer picture of how you can build, manage and scale your cybersecurity managed services to generate more predictable and sustainable revenue. Learning just one idea here is going to be worth it!

We will discuss the issues with leading experts in the area.

We wrap things up over drinks in a fun social networking environment. Attendees will have an option to participate in a Mastermind Peer-Group session.

Get together with a small group of your peers (socially distanced) to discuss your pain points and solutions. If you have never experienced a Mastermind peer-group before then you are in for a treat! You will be amazed how this can help you solve most of your problems. Vendors can also join the discussion so everyone can help each other. A facilitator will guide everyone through the fun and thought-provoking journey.

Check out the testimonials from our web site to see what your peers are saying.

For those who would like to stay back for dinner and more social networking, we will be hosting a dinner at a near by location.
